Beyond static composition data, Substance Compliance Reporting in Matplus EDA® generates regulated substance reports directly from bills of materials (BOM) with material assignments. Reports list each substance with quantity, proportion, and CAS number — drawn from the composition stored in the MMPDS database.
This functionality is also available via a REST interface, allowing PLM and ERP systems to request substance reports automatically. This closes the gap between aerospace material selection and downstream compliance documentation.
