With the addition of alloy chemical compositions and their corresponding CAS numbers, our extended MMPDS database enables precise substance declarations. This enhancement ensures compliance with environmental and safety regulations, providing you with confidence in your material selections.
Beyond static composition data, the EDA® Substance Compliance Reporting (SCR) module generates regulated substance reports directly from bills of materials (BOM) with material assignments. Reports list each substance with quantity, proportion, and CAS number — drawn from the composition stored in the MMPDS database.
The SCR functionality is also available via a REST interface, allowing PLM and ERP systems to request substance reports automatically. This closes the gap between aerospace material selection and downstream compliance documentation.
